This exquisite painting impresses with its remarkable attention to detail, especially considering its small format. Originally, the painting measured just 40 cm x 30 cm. The fine details and depth of the painting are particularly effective as it was painted with oil paints on a wooden panel. The long blades of grass that can be seen in the painting give it a tangible direction and dynamism that the viewer's eye catches and enjoys. The central opening in this arrangement almost resembles an eye and arouses the viewer's interest in finding their own interpretation. Along the bottom edge is a range of hills lined with lush trees. The rolling hills lead the eye to the horizon, and it becomes clear how much is happening in this small format. A body of water stretches out in the foreground, surrounded by a wildly overgrown bank in various shades of green. But the most striking element in the picture, which also inspired its title, is the high chair standing in the water. Every viewer is invited to find their own interpretation or simply let the chair and its meaning take effect. Fine brushstrokes applied the paint to the wooden panel, and the rest of the drying process took place through the air. Oil paint dries in the air by absorbing oxygen and hardening the oily substances contained in the paint. The original painting entitled 'High Chair' is an oil painting on wood panel from 2018 . The size of the original is 40 x 30 cm.
