The freely invented motif with the central bridge can, as is the case with many of these pictures, be taken in for its aesthetic effect alone, without further interpretation, and the meaning of the picture can be seen to be fulfilled in it. However, if someone is not satisfied with it, they can begin to philosophize about the interdependence of all existence and use this painting as an opportunity to do so. Every being needs a connection in the sense of a bridge to other beings. Mere existence is not fulfilled or complete in itself. In order to 'be' and remain in being, it requires an exchange with accessible other individuals. Thus, the being in question may not only dwell in itself, but go out of itself with the essential urge to enter into interactions with the world of things in order to enter into the process of a development. In this sense, the bridge in the picture can be a metaphor for such a mutual (!) exchange. As a high-quality art print, this picture is recommended to encourage its viewers to reflect on the nature of existence and the importance of connections. The original painting entitled 'The Connection' is an oil painting on canvas from 2019. The size of the original is 30 x 40 cm.
