This fine painting of a bridge over a pond was inspired by Moni's garden, although I did not use any photographs from his world-famous garden. As with my other artworks, this is a creative product where I want to portray a wholesome world.
When I talk about an "artistic product", I mean that the composition comes from my imagination and was not simply painted naively from photographs. Otherwise they would just be handcrafted paintings. I had the privilege of visiting Moni's garden in person and having the experience of wandering and exploring this beautiful garden.
This painting was created in my studio in Berlin and shows a simple yet charming subject. In the foreground you can see a pond crossed by a bridge, surrounded by majestic trees. The bright blue sky crowns this scene.
