Wassily Kandinsky - “Yellow - Red - Blue”
Art reproduction on canvas in a ‘Friedegarde’ frame
In this version, Wassily Kandinsky’s ‘Yellow - Red - Blue’ appears as a dynamic composition of colour, form and inner movement. The work is one of those abstract paintings in which Kandinsky did not view colour merely as a flat surface, but as an independent force with rhythmic and emotional impact. Yellow, red and blue enter into a dynamic interplay with lines, circles and geometric shapes. The composition appears both orderly and free, as if a quiet equilibrium of sound, movement and contrast were emerging between the individual elements.
The reproduction measures 60 × 38 cm and is executed on Leonardo (Satin) canvas. The satin-finished surface faithfully reproduces the clear areas of colour, fine lines and nuanced transitions. The motif is mounted on a stretcher frame and framed in black at the sides. In addition, a 3 cm wide white border frames the image, providing a calm boundary.
The work is set within the classic ‘Friedegarde’ decorative frame in black. At 15 mm wide and 14 mm high, the frame remains slim and clean-lined. A screw-mounted serrated hanging mechanism discreetly completes the design.
