Paul Klee - “Fish Magic”
Art reproduction on canvas in a ‘Trina’ frame
Klee’s ‘Fish Magic’ feels like a glimpse into a dark, floating liminal world. Fish, symbols, plant forms and small, enigmatic elements emerge from the blackness, as if they belonged simultaneously to the water, to a dream and to a secret script. Paul Klee was not an artist who simply depicted reality. He broke it down into lines, colours and symbols and reassembled them. It is precisely this that gives his paintings their distinctive lightness: they are playful, yet never harmless; childlike in tone, yet at the same time full of inner order.
The reproduction measures 70 × 55 cm and is executed on Leonardo (Satin) canvas. The satin-finished surface brings out the dark depth, the fine lines and the luminous colour accents in a balanced way. The motif is mounted on a stretcher frame and framed in black at the sides, ensuring the picture area remains clearly defined.
The classic ‘Trina’ frame in black echoes the dark mood of the picture. Measuring 20 mm in width and 35 mm in height, it lends depth to the composition without detracting from its floating effect. A slot-in serrated hanging mechanism completes the design.
