Emergence No. 3

*Émergence No. 3* explores the interplay between geometric rigour and the spontaneity of the painterly gesture. Against a textured background in which luminous yellow, ochre, brown and black intermingle, an interweaving of dark lines traces irregular rectangular shapes, creating a dense and dynamic composition. The structures appear to interlock, intersect and extend beyond the edges of the painting, suggesting continuous movement. The contrasts between light and dark areas enhance the work’s visual depth. This abstraction evokes a process of transformation, in which the lines organise the material whilst leaving room for the unexpected and for balance.
