Drawings on the island of Hiddensee l Nordic mythology l Portraits l Philosophy l Book illustrations I *Inspired by the stories of the islanders of Hiddensee, the myths and legends, as well as the reverence for the sea and the landscape that invites you to dream, I occasionally set out on the narrow paths of the island in the footsteps of these stories, in order to then capture my impressions in drawings. But I am also very interested in and influenced by street art, poetic literature, psychology (especially resilience research) and philosophy. My drawings are dialogs with experience, current processes and ideas about the future, in a rather dreamy stylistic aesthetic, always in black and white and in a filigree network of simple metaphors.*
