With the Thakia model, the Ambrosia frame series presents a narrow gold frame that is a popular painting frame for art lovers and gallery owners. Not only that gold frames are the perfect companion for art prints, but also in this case the dainty shape that the designers have given the frame is convincing. The real wood bar has a width of 37 mm, while the highest part of the frame projects into the room with 29 mm. He does this right at the outer edge in the form of a tongue protruding upwards. The front view then shows the splendidly designed bar, which retracts slightly towards the wall in a very slight way. A groove adjoins this slight inner curvature, which then results in the inner bar at the center of the picture. This consists of two delicate strips, the upper one as a right-angled border, the lower one as a narrow end. The strong, shiny gold has been joined by very fine, dark transverse lines on this inner part as skilful accents. The main bar, on the other hand, received ornaments. The surface was designed with a dotted pattern like a copper engraving, on which in turn floral decorative elements were placed. Very delicate with a lot of empty space between the ornaments, the tendrils shown form a delicate structure on the middle bar and shine in strong gold.
