| Amelia is a brown, modern painting frame that the Vagabond series presents. The desire for experimentation by the designers is particularly evident in this decorative frame. Here, an individual design was conjured up on a rather simple real wooden bar, which no other frame can have. A mere 35 mm wide and 27 mm high at the highest point, Amelia also manages with a single bar. Simplicity is the be-all and end-all when designing this frame. A small plateau emerges from the wall and goes out at a very narrow angle towards the inner frame of the picture. At the same angle, the inner narrow section runs as a conclusion to the framed motif. In the end, creative work was done on this functional bar. The result is an extraordinary experiment made up of various elements. The color of Amelia is dark brown par excellence. Both the background and the relief-like accents are kept in this warm color. However, the base has been given a matt surface and therefore looks a little milky. Black tones blend in unobtrusively and intensify the contrast to the applied design elements: the line shapes reminiscent of diagonally running car tire tracks shine particularly extensively in the reddish brown. |
